Welcome to
Mary Vila Art

In a world that moves too fast, my art invites you to slow down. I’m Mary Vila, and I aim to create pieces that capture the quiet beauty of everyday moments and the nostalgia of memories that feel just within reach.

This space is for those who find meaning in the small moments, who admire nature’s wonders, and who seek a sense of peace in art. Each piece is a reflection of a feeling, a moment, a story waiting to be rediscovered.

Take your time, explore, and let the art speak to you. I’m so glad you’re here.

About Mary Vila

Mary Vila creates art that feels like a cherished memory—imbued with nostalgia, warmth, and a deep appreciation for life’s quiet moments. Living with ADHD, she has always had a lush and imaginative inner world, but her neurodivergence also means she carries only fragments of her past. Painting has become her way of anchoring herself in the present—an attempt to take in more of the world around her and preserve its fleeting beauty.

Beyond art, Mary leads a multi-faceted life. She is a Jiu Jitsu student and children's coach, a part-time caregiver who finds joy in assisting seniors, and a devoted cat mom (despite a lifelong love of dogs). She’s an avid reader of horror and fantasy, a passionate home cook, and a gamer. Her favorite moments include watching storm clouds roll in on sunny, summer days, folding matching socks straight out of the dryer, and arriving at a destination the exact moment a song reaches it's end.

Through her work, she invites you to pause, reflect, and find beauty in the everyday.
