Shadow

This is a very special painting for a very special family. Meet Shadow. The chillest dog to ever chill. When I went to visit and take his photo, he had absolutely no interest in striking a pose. So here he is, in his favorite spot, at the feet of his favorite people.

I had the honor of becoming friends with his owner, Mr. Dick Billings, before he left this earth. He was one of the most generous, creative, and lovely humans that I ever met, and whose energy was contagious. He always believed in my creative abilities and was one of my biggest cheerleaders. This is just how he was with people. That being said, he was a very special person and this painting holds a very special place in my heart.
